Default Heading to Charlotte!

Thanks, Jeff.

I'm coming from Delaware. I'm used to stocked trout in small streams.
Every once in a while we get up to the Yellow Breeches.

Too bad about the lack of trout fishing in Charlotte, guess I'll have to try
for some bass.

my condolences on the sentence to charlotte, but there are plenty of
good watersheds with fish not too far from there. where are you coming
from and what kind of flyfishing do you prefer? bass lakes abound in the
vicinity. you'll be an hour and a half or so from most decent trout
streams. look for the route to morganton, find wilson creek outfitters
in the old downtown area, and ask for wally. i think there may be a fly
shop or two in charlotte yellow pages you can check out as well.

Actually, though Charlotte has its shortcomings, it's not far from trout
fishing to the west and salt water to the east, with bass fishing in
between. I know lots of people who'd think that's not a bad deal, all in
all. I'd guess that within a two hour drive are some pretty good trout
streams.

I go to Charlotte from time to time - going on Thursday for the day, in
fact.

Bob
