Just to clear the air... a Harley is NOT in my future. A Honda... maybe...
never a Harley. (Sorry Wisconsin) "Rich P" wrote in message ... Harleys are like tatoos now, everyone's out tooling around on them in a leather vest and a half shell, but it doesn't mean anything anymore. Having a bass boat is sooo much hipper! Keep the boat! Rich P "Steve @ OutdoorFrontiers" wrote in message ... "Steve @ OutdoorFrontiers" wrote in message ... "Charles Summers" wrote in message . .. You know it... I love it, but it's not getting any use. I think I want to sell it, buy a big ass Harley Davidson. Call me crazy, but you won't be the first. Anyone interested in a Nitro? Oh yeah, like you need a Harley, didn't you learn enough while on your bicycle? My "almost" son in law is thinking about buying an entry level boat, what are you asking? Or better yet, you've got the Nitro paid off, right? Why don't you buy something less expensive than a "big ass Harley" and keep both? -- Steve @ OutdoorFrontiers http://www.outdoorfrontiers.com G & S Guide Service and Custom Rods http://www.herefishyfishy.com |

... Just to clear the air... a Harley is NOT in my future. A Honda... maybe... never a Harley. (Sorry Wisconsin) Why? I've owned plenty of both and inspite of the hype and attitudes there isn't really that much difference. The smaller Hondas are cheaper, but that's about it. Take the top of the line from both, and maintenance, life, and price are about the same. Say ReclinerWing vs UltraBarge. Harley has some non-quality (persay) advantages. Resale value is exceptional, and the huge aftermarket pretty much guarantees you can keep your Harley on the road as long as you want to. -- Bob La Londe Fishing Arizona & The Colorado River Fishing Forums & Contests http://www.YumaBassMan.com -- Posted via a free Usenet account from http://www.teranews.com |

Just transportation around town is all I need. Much like my attitude when I

A mid size Honda will do that just fine, and Harley doesn't really compete in that market very well with its Sportster. Also a lot more cheap mid sized used Hondas available. -- Bob La Londe Fishing Arizona & The Colorado River Fishing Forums & Contests http://www.YumaBassMan.com -- Bob La Londe Fishing Arizona & The Colorado River Fishing Forums & Contests http://www.YumaBassMan.com -- Posted via a free Usenet account from http://www.teranews.com |

I owned a number of Harleys over about 15 years, and I sold the last one two
years ago. One thing to think about these days is what type of street environment you will have to ride within. If you will be forced to do a lot of your riding on main drag suburbia streets packed with very distracted cellphone using commuters and soccermoms, riding a bike is not really much fun. You tend to have white knuckle experiences about every 5 minutes. Bill "Charles Summers" wrote in message ... Just transportation around town is all I need.
