Moby goby?

Correct, as was GM with "jammin' salmon."

Thanks to Frank and Jeff for demonstrating that I am not the only boy
who grew up in America without exposure to this preadolescent backseat
diversion.

The rules are simple:

1. The answer is a rhyming pair of words with the same number of
syllables. The number of sylabbles is dictated by "hink pink" for one,
"hinky pinky" for two and "hinkety pinkety" for three. What about
four, sez I. Don't know.....never came up.

2. The two words in the answer must make some sort of contextual sense
together....note that this does NOT mean they need to make any sense in
the real world.

3. That's all.....I think.

Neither had I. I suspect it may be something new, after our time, like
computers or something....

Wait a minute! Did you answer "hinky pinky: comedian's Makairas". I
don't know what a Makairas is, other than I it's some kind of fish, so
I'd (wildly) guess "funny tunny"???

Well, I didn't answer that (or any of the others) here in ROFF. As a matter
of fact, all of them were my own creations, so I guess you could say, yes, I
did.

I don't know what a Makairas is, other than I it's some kind of fish,

I didn't either. I started with another name and found something that would
work as a clue.

so I'd (wildly) guess "funny tunny"???

I like it.....but it's not the right answer. Note the singular possessive
in the clue.

Carlin's Marlins, to be more precise, but yes.......we have another winner!
