This is one of my favorite times of the year. The XC skiing is
excellent, the hockey rink is in good shape, and the only people in town
are those who actually live here, aside from the occasional asshole
snowmobilers on the weekends.

I know many of you are still gripped in Winter, but look West or South ...
Spring is on it's way .... honest !


I'm dreading it. Spring here comes in late April and May. It's what we
call "mud season," and nearly all trout fishing in Idaho is closed in
May. I'm considering some alternatives.
