FWIW Racing balsa weighs 4 pounds per cubic foot. So this light weight
flimsy, easy-to-break balsa is still twice as heavy as your durable foam! I totally agree! Why oh why can't we buy light weight, easy-to-form, cheap foam for our flies? ARRRRGH! John "sandy" wrote in message ... sandy wrote: Punchline: I don't think you can buy this foam. The magic of the market place is stuck in a mire. So I forgot to explain.....the only sources for 2lbs per cubic foot foam I have ever found where wholesale only. So you have to buy a couple hundred bucks worth to get it. I look periodically, on Google, Thomas Register, etc. But I have never yet found a retail source for this stuff. Wake up wholesalers. Buy the right stuff. -- /* Sandy Pittendrigh --O0 ** http://montana-riverboats.com */ |
