I would urge any person who feels a sense of gratitude to our troops who serve and are wounded overseas to make a donation to this cause. Who are 'our' troops, Raven? The Moroccans who fish in the Atlas Mountains? The Afghan guerrillas fishing in the Hindu Kush? This is an international NG. That said, it does look like a laudable and well-inentioned organization, and I have a lot of sympathy for troops from any country who have been disabled while fighting on behalf of their own state's ruthless politicians, media barons and dumb population. For my own part, one reason why I go fly-fishing is that I find it intensely nerve-racking, and I use it to liven myself up after the tedium and boredom of war-zones. Lazarus |
