MY 1st thought would be to night fish it. Use a Jitterbug on top or a Tiny
Torpedo, or pull a Plow Jockey thru very slowly with a rattle or attractant. Daytime, use baits that resemble natural colors and as someone else stated, their primary forage. Make long cast and keep your movement to a minimum. Other than that, it's up to the fish whether they want to bite that day or not. Good Luck! Doug "Phone Man" wrote in message ... Does anyone have a suggestion for catching bass in clear water? I have been to this old rock quarry for many years and see tons of bass and have not found any lure or bait they will strike. Also does anyone know of any good fishing ponds or lakes around Anson or Union county North Carolina? Thanks |
