Give it a rest with the racist crap. 88% is less than 96% and the turnout was signficantly higher in 2008 among african-americans. Obama got approx 3.5M more african-american votes than Kerry. In contrast: In 2008, McCain received roughly 1/3 the african-american votes than Bush received in 2004 (approx 0.6M african-american votes). If african- americans had turned out for Kerry half as much as they did for Obama, Kerry would have been president these last 4 years. - Ken |
