Default typical dip **** war monger......

After months of what some critics called overexposure, President Obama
has of late avoided
questions from the White House press corps at large, closing the Oval
Office to traditionally
informal question-and-answer sessions with reporters and pulling back
from the fast pace of
news conferences he established when taking office.

The president, whose job-approval ratings have been on a steady slide,
hasn't held a formal
news conference in 19 weeks, since July 22. That one ended badly, when
Mr. Obama waded
into a racial controversy by saying a white police officer "acted
stupidly" when he arrested a
black Harvard professor

Obama and his family have not reached out to her either, she said.

another peace loving muslim no doubt... dip ****s...

The body the president displayed had a beard. The president also
showed the remains of the suicide belt and shreds of a hijab -- a
garment worn by some Muslim women to reflect modesty -- at the news
conference, according to the journalist.

The government named the three slain ministers as Education Minister
Abdullahi Wayel, Health Minister Qamar Aden and Higher Education
Minister Ibrahim Hassan Adow.

Adow, a Somali-American, served as the foreign secretary of the
Islamic Courts Union when it held Mogadishu in 2006.

Video of the graduation ceremony showed Dr. Osman Dufle, the country's
former health minister, speaking as the camera begins to shake --
apparently from the explosion.

Afterward, Dufle told journalists that he saw a person dressed in
black moving through the audience just before the blast, according to
the Radio Mogadishu journalist.

o'bummer

I read today that the "carbon footprint" being generated by Obama and
the thousands
of others going to Copenhagen for the Global Warming conference is
equal to that of
what Morocco generated in 2006.

-------news-----------------

Dec. 6 (Bloomberg) -- President Barack Obama plans to head to the U.S.
Capitol to press Senate Democrats to agree on health legislation as
lawmakers struggle to resolve disputes over issues including a
proposed government-run insurance plan.

Democrats met throughout yesterday to seek an alternative to Senate
Majority Harry Reid’s plan to create the new national program to cover
the uninsured. Opposition within his party leaves Reid at risk of
falling four votes short of the 60 he needs to pass the legislation,
the most sweeping overhaul of the nation’s health-care system in more
than four decades.

Obama’s scheduled visit comes as the bill’s backers need a jolt to
come together, said Massachusetts Democrat John Kerry.

“We have to talk about how to put the final pieces together,” Kerry
said. “It’s good to hear from the president now, because it’s getting
to that stage where you have to come to a decision with your heart as
well as your head.”

Reid called the rare weekend session to meet his deadline of getting a
bill by year-end. Republicans, unified in opposition, forced the
Democrats yesterday to reiterate their support for cutting more than
$40 billion in home health-care services funding under Medicare. It
was the latest Republican effort to highlight the bill’s potential
impact on the elderly.

The Obama Administration is touting that their stimulus program has
saved
or created 640,329 jobs since it was enacted back in February through
the
end of October. This number is updated and posted on the
Administration’s
recovery.gov web site. That amounts to $246,436 per job based on the
$157.8bn that has been awarded so far! Total compensation earned by
the
average payroll employee during October, on an annualized basis, was
$59,867.
If the government had simply used the funds awarded so far to pay for
a
year’s worth of labor, that would have paid for 2.6mn jobs!

what a f'ing idiot...

------snip--------------------

President Obama's job approval rating has fallen to 47 percent in the
latest Gallup poll, the lowest ever recorded for any president at this
point in his term.

Jimmy Carter, Gerald Ford and even Richard Nixon all had higher
approval ratings 10-and-a-half months into their presidencies. Obama's
immediate predecessor, President George W. Bush, had an approval
rating of 86 percent, or 39 points higher than Obama at this stage.
Bush's support came shortly after he launched the war in Afghanistan
in response to the terror attacks of Sept. 11, 2001.

Bush? Bush? Oh yeah, you mean the guy who let Bin Laudin get away? The
genius who focused on Iraq, while most of his advisers except the
neocons told him that Bin Laudin was in Afghanistan? Oh yeah the guy
Obama is cleaning up after while ass clowns like you heckle.

Nobel peace prize: Norwegians incensed over Barack Obama's snubs !

Norway. Photograph: Win McNamee/Getty

Barack Obama's trip to Oslo to pick up his Nobel peace award is in
danger of being overshadowed by a row over the cancellation of a
series of events normally attended by the prizewinner.

Norwegians are incensed over what they view as his shabby response to
the prize by cutting short his visit.

The White House has cancelled many of the events peace prize laureates
traditionally submit to, including a dinner with the Norwegian Nobel
committee, a press conference, a television interview, appearances at
a children's event promoting peace and a music concert, as well as a
visit to an exhibition in his honour at the Nobel peace centre.

He has also turned down a lunch invitation from the King of Norway.

According to a poll published by the daily tabloid VG, 44% of
Norwegians believe it was rude of Obama to cancel his scheduled lunch
with King Harald, with only 34% saying they believe it was acceptable.
