I agree, though, that the weather was good.


Maybe I did too but didn't notice it. It never got heavy enough to
affect casting like it did the last couple times there. I hate it when
the line gets stuck in the midst of a cast. My only gripe was the color
of the water. Tough to spot fish and ugly on top of it.

The ice on my guides didn't so much affect the casting as it did the
mending -- especially the flip mend.

On the technical side, I think the second one of Bruce's pictures is of
me, not you, have a closer look at the bulding pockets on the coat with
no vest over it, I think you were wearing the vest over the top on the
Animas.
