um, joe...have you been reading about the recent studies concerning the
effects of social drinking on brain functions. at my current rate...
well, i might be the intellectual equal of an 8 year old....

You mean drinking makes you younger? Terrific!

well, sometimes it makes me think i'm younger...
which reminds me...joe and i would like the opportunity to fish with you
this year...for some reason, though we've shared drinks with you, i've
not yet had the opportunity to learn a few things from you about fishing
your streams. since we'll be at the "carolina cabin" above cherry run
and blue rock hole, perhaps you'd privilege us with a morning or evening
of your camaraderie...drinks are on us.

Joe adds--jeff what does he drink? All i usually bring are premixed
manhattens.
By the way- what is name and country of European staying with us?

thought it would be nice to do a quick survey of his area so he would not
think i am a real dumb redneck. Wonder if he will tell us about the vikings
and stuff like that one evening? Should i bring poker chips or do we need a
few rolls of quarters?
Should i bring rain gear? getting excited

Actually, it probably only makes one forget that one is getting old. For a
short time at least.

By the way- what is name and country of European staying with us?

are you talking about roger ohlund, from sweden? or wolfgang? roger has
a fantastic web page with links to numerous of his homeland waters...

any good vodka, all of those flies you've "won" through the years...

Should i bring rain gear?

While you've got him captured, Jeff, ask him to talk a bit about the year
that he shared his office with Ed Zern. Somebody should capture the
dialogue on tape....

Wish I *could* say yes, but I have a schedule conflict. As for Lana, I was
hoping that she'd break the news....... It seems that
Jeff.....well.......uhh...go ahead, Jeff, I just can't be the one to break
his heart......

I s'pose I'll see you in the fall, iff'n you make it to NC. In the
meantime, I got's to be in the office/lab.

.joe and i would like the opportunity to fish with you
this year...

Hey, I'm honored by your invitation! I gratefully accept.

not yet had the opportunity to learn a few things from you about fishing
your streams.

I'm afraid you'll be disappointed at how little you can learn from me.
I'm not being modest when I say I'm a damn poor fisherman.

we'll be at the "carolina cabin" above cherry run
and blue rock hole, perhaps you'd privilege us with a morning or evening
of your camaraderie...drinks are on us.

It will be my pleasure. What day are you arriving?
