Default Penns Update

Arrived Saturday at 5 PM IN THE RAIN!!!! Went down to Elk Creek since
Penns was running a bit high and green. Caught one Brown then the
LIGHTENING drove me off the tream just ahead of a TORRENTIAL DOWNPOUR.
Stopped by Asadi's place and Souchef Dave Pa slaved away over a grill
to make burgers while Chef Asadi toasted buns, grilled onions, and
opened my beer. Life was good in the RAIN. Tim and I headed back to
Elk Sunday morning because Penns looked even higher and discolored. We
fished hard all morning. I missed 3 strikes and Tim landed a heavy
15+ inch fish. We lunched in Millheim and I headed home as the RAIN
periodically fell.

How come I remember reading pieces of text like this exactly one year
ago?

Is this some kind of an M (without the leading S&) clave?

i fished every day for almost all of the day... rain was never a problem
on the stream until the morning i left (yesterday). it rained hard all
night and into the morning, and penns was getting brown. there were a
few intermittent showers during the week...but nothing that affected the
stream negatively in my opinion. penns is always a challenging
stream...it was this year. but, of the 4 years i've attended, this was
almost equal to the first year as far as weather and the late evening
hatch. there were no mid-day or early evening hatches in the stretches
i fished. thanks to makela, i saw my first green drake on penns, and
hooked my first brown with a big green drake fly. that was neat...and it
will assure my return next year.

My trip report: Fishing was great. Catching could have been better. People
were great. Summary: I'm already looking forward to returning next year.

Yeah..those drakes are amazing. Another reason to go back next year,
later in the month. That night at about 10:00 it got incredibly
instense with female duns emerging by the thousands. Right about now,
it's getting downright serious too, I expect. Have to push it back a
week further next year.
