Sage has bought Reddington some time ago, so Reddington is "gone". The guys
who started Reddington, made a new brand called Albright. /Thomas - DK "Ted Bradshaw" wrote in message ... Greetings to all from the UK. I am familiar with some US rods (Orvis and Sage figure in my armoury), but I am wondering about Redington. I would be very grateful for any observations you would care to make about these rods: quality, action etc.. Tight lines. ted Bradshaw. |

Sage has bought Reddington some time ago, so Reddington is "gone". The guys
who started Reddington, made a new brand called Albright. Redington is not gone. They were indeed purchased by Sage, but the name and many of the products remain intact. You are also correct about Murphy and company starting Albright. Redington produces pretty good entry level rods for the lower to mid priced market. I've owned a few and still have a DFR, which is one of my favorite rods. |
