I just returned from a four day session at linear on st johns lake and what
a joke all I can say is unless you are prepared to spod about £100 worth
of
bait in then don't go
its packed all the time and the place has no features on the water at all
3
rods £20 for 24 hrs not a bad deal but on top of the £100 (which isn't
including hook bait or flavours etc)
to spod with makes it expensive and you can catch just as good carp
(bigger
in some cases) for a quarter of the cost

Heh ! Weird that, I had an afternoon there last week, took one rod, and
fished with a Large PVA bags filled with Koi Swim Stim, I fished about 15m
out and fed with small and large hallibut pellets via the pult.
In 5 hours I landed 3 good size fish including a common of about 19lb.
Some you win - some you lose.
