Default Cabelas Online Delay?

If you needed it by Friday then I would suggest you call Cabelas. If you
are just worried about getting it then no. It will show up eventually.

I have commented before that it takes Cabelas a couple days to process
orders. Most folks seemed to think I was just whining. Anything I want by
a certain time I buy from a local vendor if they have it in stock.

Default Cabelas Online Delay?

Placed an order at Cabelas online store last thursday. Its still
pending, and the "estimated time of delivery" is supposed to be friday.
Is this any thing I should worry about?

I dont need it by friday....need it by april or whenever the hell it decides to
get reasonably warm up here in Taxachussets....

Just used to buying things on ebay, paying via paypal that day, and having
things shipped the next morning I guess. Just seems like a long time..having
been 4 or 5 business days for it to not have even shipped.

They should have given you a tracking number. Check it, its a lot more
accurate. I've never had a problem with Cabelas. Unless something is back
ordered, I always get it before their estimated time of arrival.

Its still listed as pending, and says theres no tracking number as it hasnt
shipped yet.

I'd call them. I placed an order with then on 2/14. Items were assigned a
tracking number the next day. They are scheduled to arrive today and this is
confirmed on USP's website.

Correction to my post: I placed the order on 2/10 (Tuesday) and it shipped
on 2/14 (Saturday). Still due to arrive on 2/18. So it did take them 4 days
to ship the items. I agree, it does seem to be a long time. Probably because
they advertise "Standard Express" shipping and that it takes 3-6 days. This
sounds like (and is) standard ground shipping. Perhaps they should choose a
better name for it.

I just checked. Ordered on 2/12. So with the long weekend and such, it should
ship today. If its not out the door by tommorow, I'll give them a call. Thanks

Item is supposed to be here today...ups says not till the 23d....kind of makes me
angry that it takes 9 days to get something that was supposed to be here in
3-5...well...whatever..still gonna get it. Wish this was like ebay..then I could
give them negative feedback.

Anyways, slow service just means I'm more picky when I finally do get the items.
