Type of battery for trolling motor

Uh, well....nowadays I grab what's on the lot and go. BUTwhen I rig my
own soon, it'll have those german tanks in it, I promise.

There were several times I got trapped at some stink hole without power and
ran them hard...really hard for two full days without a loss. They were
amazing.

I believe what does most of the cheaper batteries in is a good beating,
constant big water hits just do them in, and that's it.
