I have found that when adding recycled (scrap) lead to my melting pot that a
higher temp is needed to keep it melted. Also the top third of the melted metal is 'slushy'. Is there a way to add good lead and mix the two back to a workable metal? Is there an additive that can be used for the same (tin, bismuth, flux???) Jay Wirth Renaissance Ink 1613 Rita Rd Vestal, NY 13850 www.renaissanceink.net 607 748 4665 |

I have used wheel weights for casting in the past, and I just got it really
hot (in well ventilated area) and skimmed off the garbage on the surface. -- ** FREE Fishing Lures ** Weekly drawing ** Public Fishing and Boating Forums ** www.YumaBassMan.com "JWirth4702" wrote in message ...
