Used pair of Force Fins with new heel straps and foam cushions. Fins are
in excellent shape with some scratches. $40+actual cost of shipping. Gained access to a private lake very near my home and all it cost was a half case of Coors and a big bag of Nachos. (graft, doncha just love it?) The only way to get on the water is by float tube so I bought a Caddis U style float tube and a pair of Caddis light weight fins. Best fishing I've had in a long time. Bass and bluegill very willing to hit just about anything I throw at them. Actually had a catfish hit a wooly bugger as it hit the water. This guy was 24" and I had a hell of a time getting the hook out. First cat for me on a fly rod. Hope all my roff friends are doing well and catching fish. Planning on floating the lower section of the AuSable for smallies next month then off to Maine to do the Penobscot again this year. Frank Sr Fremont, IN (who still hasn't found roff on Facebook) |
