Default Brownsville Tx - Stocking

BROWNSVILLE, TX-After years of drought, recent rains have refilled Rio
Grande River reservoirs, flushing out non-native plants and sending a surge
of freshwater into the Rio Grande River coastal estuary.

Texas Parks and Wildlife Department (TPWD) biologists rushed to take
advantage of the prime conditions to stock more than 600,000 Florida-strain
largemouth bass and 174,000 northern-strain bass fingerlings in Falcon
Reservoir, and 552,000 Florida bass and 42,000 northern bass at Amistad
Reservoir.

*** You know what that means? Baby bass pattern crank baits and topwaters
will be hot in Falcon and Amistad right now.
