Ok had to take a break, I have been staring at this screen looking over
revenue reports, income reports, productivity reports and I've had it. It
has been downpouring all day, my inbox could not be any fuller and I have a
serious jones to go throw a worm. Any ideas what to throw after a heavy
rain. I like Red shad worms, but I also like red shad worms in general, so
what do you guys/gals like to throw after a heavy rain? Another hour and I'm
off the clock and I am going to try and catch a fish or two. Ok done ranting
back to work....

Randy - a heavy rain often oxygenates the upper part of the water column.
What better opportunity to toss a topwater bait or two? Also concentrate
around mudlines & in places where the water washes into your ponds. Go get
em tiger...

One of the best days I ever had was during a rain no short of a monsoon. The
bass were tearing up Super Flukes all day in that rain. The rain and the
fishing lasted two days straight. I probably caught almost 100 fish those two
days. The only problem was all of them were short of the 15" mark. Most were
14 1/2 - 14 3/4...just my darn luck!

I know the feeling..this week has just been so much worse than usual. Of
course, I've got that new pic as my backgroun so I just keep thinking back
to fishing.

Anything that makes noise. I'll usually use a spinner reeled in REAL
slow..usually I'll land a few bass in no time.

It's good to see that other people have to work for a living too! I could
give you some fishing advice, but it would probably be WAY outdated.
