That's weird.

Only thing I can think of is a phoney baloney "Jurassic Park"
type pet fish farm. They sure as hell weren't wild fish.

I've caught brook trout that size in western NC. But they were brood stock
from a hatchery. TU was either catching fish like that, or the guide service
took them to a very special place reserved for high-paying dummies. Judging
by a little wooden bridge visible upstream, I think the guide service was
doing a pretty good job of self-promotion. And TU was doing a pretty good
job of being an accomplice.
